With the conveyancing sector’s newest, high-profile awards ceremony nearly here, The Conveyancing Awards team has revealed an unmissable line-up of prizes for its charity raffle.
Attendees at The Londoner on 14 May will be able to show their support for The Mindstep Foundation, one of The Conveyancing Foundation’s grant recipients, by purchasing charity raffle tickets for £10 each, or 3 for 2.
Prizes have been generously donated by the Globespan Media team and our award partners, and include:
The Mindstep Foundation was established by Lloyd Davies, founder and patron of The Conveyancing Foundation, following the passing of his son, Maxwell Davies in 2018. In Max’s memory, The Mindstep Foundation raises awareness, supports those suffering with mental health, and funds research into preventing suicide, which takes 11 young male lives every day in the UK alone.
A target of £50,000 has been set for the year. Fundraising from the raffle will be added to our ticket sales donation and the recent 400km Cycling Pilgrimage Lloyd completed from Monmouth to Canterbury. Together it will go to the specialist Suicide Prevention Research Department at Glasgow University.
The raffle will be drawn at the awards, with the winners announced by Janine Wellington of The Conveyancing Foundation.
“We’re thrilled with the ongoing support from The Conveyancing Awards,” says Lloyd. “This bold new ceremony has attracted the industry’s attention and looks set to be an unforgettable event. It’s also wonderful that the awards will be presented during Mental Health Awareness Week, marking a timely reminder to take action and check in with each other. With such a coveted list of prizes, we encourage attendees to go all in and not miss their chance to win something truly special!”
