Take Ten with…Stewart Title Limited

Our Take Ten With… series is a short, playful interview with each of our sponsors, where they answer ten quickfire questions about their business, why they chose to become an event partner, their opinions on the conveyancing sector, and what they’re looking forward to about The Conveyancing Awards 2026.

Meet Robert Kelly, Director of Partnerships at Stewart Title Limited…

1. What is your company’s elevator pitch?

At Stewart Title we see our primary role as being a partner to lawyers in the conveyancing sector. Lawyers and their clients need speedy and effective solutions to the title problems they face, and we are ready to provide these so they can complete with peace of mind.

2. At The Conveyancing Awards, what should we look out for from your team?

Our expert team will be well represented at the Awards, taking the opportunity to network and connect with colleagues from across the conveyancing community. We’ll also be joined by Jennifer McKay, Vice President of International Business Development, who is looking forward to meeting more UK lawyers at the Awards Dinner. Stewart Title offers local experience with the support of a well-established and global parent organisation.

3. Why was this partnership right for your business?

Supporting the conveyancing community and recognising their efforts is important to Stewart Title. The Conveyancing Awards provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the hard work and expertise across the profession, and the pre-Dinner Drinks Reception is a great way to bring people together and kick off the celebrations. And of course, who wouldn’t like having a specially crafted cocktail named after them?!

4. In three words, how would you describe the conveyancing sector?

Dedicated, pressured, resourceful.

5. What’s your advice for anyone new to the awards scene?

This is a wonderful community. Enjoy the moment and embrace the many conversations you will have with new and familiar faces.

6. Who/which businesses do you hope to see recognised with an award this year & why?

This is a difficult question to answer, as any winner will assuredly be deserving. The conveyancing industry as a whole has demonstrated remarkable professionalism and resilience, overcoming challenges while continuing to deliver positive outcomes for clients. We would love to recognise the industry as a whole, for going above and beyond to ensure their clients end up in their dream property.

7. What are you most looking forward to about The Conveyancing Awards?

Seeing and spending time with familiar faces, meeting new ones, enjoying great conversations that go beyond the day-to-day, and of course, the special Stewart Title cocktail!

8. If you had to choose a theme song for The Conveyancing Awards, what would it be?

Our House by Madness.

9. How do you get red carpet ready?

I was born ready!
